  • we watched an amazing puppet performance. the acting was next to none

  • it was put on by our very own Troy Boy!

  • Nellie loved the infant area

  • she totally conquered that fruit stand

  • by the end, troy was grouchy and hungry. we all had a lot of fun though!

*******
north pole rides

  • the tilt-a-whirl was the boys' favorite. grandpa did a round, then mom.. that was about all us, big people, could handle

  • grandma was a trooper and got on this crazy ride. mom hasn't quite worked up to these, yet.

  • tanner LOVED the candy cane slide and went down it a few times

  • the north pole was awesome! actually made of ice. we admired it for awhile! (and yep, that's our boy)

  • nellie was adorable in the crazy mirrors, even tired and hungry

  • tanner made friends on every ride he went on! him and the little boy next to him visited the whole time

  • our kids sure love all animals!

  • we ended our day on the Ride of Terror!!!! it wasn't actually called that, but i hated every minute of it and it seemed to last forever! being up that high and riding with a three year old, while trying to snap a few pics, was the worst i could do!

  • the angle was bad, but i swear we were up at least 6 stories... at least.

p.s. that was "friend ethan" that we adopted the last 30 minutes or so, of our trip

Deadly last words.

"Boys, I'll be right back..."

body painting

Gone a minute longer, and I'm sure he would have gotten halfway down his stomach ;)

It's on.

I officially have 95 days until the Provo Halloween Half Marathon!!

It's time to get those buns of steel in order.

working on consistency before speed. these 4 miles took me about an hour.

This wasn't too bad, but a half marathon is 13.1 miles, so I reeeeeally have a ways to go. Eggh. I am excited, though, thinking up costume ideas! What will it be?? What will it be??

Santaquin is holding a 5k in a week and I'm still back and forth on whether I should do it or not... I'll keep you posted though

i see you

penelope

yes, i don't know my own strength. and yes, it's still not fixed.

i've lost my blogger mojo. if you hadn't already noticed. these pictures were taken today...

i haven't taken a single picture since our trip to CO... i know, what is the deal?!

i'm trying to locate my SD card from colorado, so as soon as i do, i'll post the second half of our trip :)

Big Bow

I was so stoked to come across one of my hair barrettes from when I was little for Penelope. After changing it up slightly and making it into a bow I thought, "Perfect! This will look just perfect on her!"
I guess I didn't take into consideration that she's a little pee-wee and the bow is about the size of her whole head :)
Oh well, she still looks so stinkin' cute in it!

High Waters to Skinny

First off.. Thank Yoooou, Morgan!

I tell you, if it wasn't for my little sister's hand-me-downs, I probably wouldn't even have a closet!

I came back from Pueblo with a packed trash bag of miscellaneous clothing. Shirts, tanks, jeans, shoes....

Fabulous!

I was very excited about the 37 jeans (ok, maybe not that many. more like 5-6) that I now own. All in stinkin' good condition, but all about 2 inches, or more, too short. I'm about 5 1/2 inches taller than my sister. That's alright, though! I now have some new skinny jeans!

You can't really tell from the angle of the shot, but the pants are about 2 inches too short. Fits great everywhere else though!
