Our Girlie Morning

This morning Nellie fed her babies.. had Mommy help diaper one of them.. and wrapped them nicely in a comfy blanket. She's such a good Mommy!

Sometimes the baby food is so yummy, you've got to try it for yourself.

Penelope made sure Goose wasn't left out either.

We attempted nail painting too! She has very wiggly toes that thankfully dried pretty quick. Her fingers, however.. aren't as pretty, and we only attempted one hand.

I love this picture because she was trying to show me her fingers. You can see on her left hand little bits of pink where she had wiped the paint ;)

KSL Finds

I do love me a good bargain! I have been on the search for kid clothes... I've actually been on the look out for Troy clothes for this winter since his birthday is a ways away, but I can't pass up a good deal on the other kiddos if I find them.

Most of these items were 25 cents - $1. I'm so excited!

I think Nellie has seen us all singing once or twice!!

Nellie's Bed Time Peeps

This little girl needs an entourage of gal-pals to sleep with these days nights.

Spaghetti & Headstands

Lace & Turquoise

1.  This was an odd piece of fabric that I've had for quite some time. I made a simple fold at the top and inserted 3/4 elastic. The whole fabric piece was a solid tube... I don't know if that makes sense, but there's no seams along the sides.
2.  This shirt is adorable, but it's always been on the little-too-baggy-for-what-I'm-going-for side of style. I took the sides in (about 2 inches on each side!) to make the whole top more snug and form fitting.
3. The shoulders were always a little funky. The seam was way too far down on the arm, so I cut the shirt at the red line mark, curving the scissor cut to form the arm again and simple raised the sleeve. I liked the sleeve length so I left it as it was.

The finished product makes me happy :) I love that I now have a high wasted skirt that rests right above my feet. I have a couple different belts that I can swap out. The shirt's adjustment is also so much nicer, it's nice and snug.

Reds Baseball

This is our first go at baseball and we're having so much fun!

We all got baseball shirts and then Mom added our "titles" on the back.. Tanner's Sis, Tanner's Bro, Tanner's Dad & Tanner's Mom

The game doesn't really catch Miss Nel's attention.. this particular game she focused on trying to undress herself.
Troy wants so badly to be out there playing alongside his brother!
