Last Day of School : Start of Summer Vacation

School ended May 19th!

Mom and Penelope spent most of the morning of the last day of school, in Troy's classroom playing and making a Summer Bucket List of things we wanted to make sure we did before starting a new year! Penelope's list includes: play outside, plant flowers, go get ice cream, paint birdhouse, take Goose for walk, hold a baby, go skating. Mom's included: sleep, sleep, sleep.

We also dropped by Tanner's classroom to take a couple pictures of him with his friends. He adjusted so well to a new school year and had so many buddies that I wanted to make sure I got a picture of him with everyone. I was also able to snag a picture of Troy with his class, even though he wasn't having a very enjoyable last day.

Look at much these kiddos grew from the start of the school year, to the end!

For Memorial Day I took the kids to the skate park. The ramps are a little bigger and more intimidating at this skate park, compared to the one in CO. These boys are pretty amazing on their skates!

I took this picture of Penelope today. You can't see all the dirt that is currently covering her. They have been playing all day with the neighbor kids and are very dirty and smelly!

We're 35 weeks with baby and officially have FOUR WEEKS LEFT!

Troy has his first t-ball practice tomorrow evening, so pictures coming soon!

Mother's Day

Troy had his Kindergarten Circus at school this past week! He was SO excited about us all going to watch him transform into a "dancing bear". He, of course, was ADORABLE and our usual little, shy guy! We had a great time at the circus watching the dancers, cowboys, lions, elephants, strong men, seals, and clowns.

I didn't bother "fixing up" Penelope before the circus and it wasn't until she wanted me to take pictures of her that I realized, that was probably a bad idea. This was our little hoodlum ;)

And after she got a couple cookies and punch in her system!

(Penelope in the Little Mermaid jacket that was mine when I was her age! It's by far her favorite jacket and she wears it everyday. Even when it's too hot for it!)

Happy Mother's Day!
This morning was hectic to say the least! We all woke up with plenty of time to get showered and ready for church (church doesn't start until 10!) but about the time we needed to get serious about getting out the door everything came apart. Kids were crying and fighting.. church bag, with snacks and distractions, wasn't put together (and in the end, this was the first Sunday we didn't bring it), shoes couldn't be found, hair was already getting messed up and so... we were late. It was the first time we had been late to church in over 9 months. But, I suppose we all looked dang good in the end ;)
Doesn't our lawn look darn good?! Me and my 8 month belly mowed that bad boy this past week! It was quite a sight for all my neighbors, I'm sure.

The kids (along with the rest of the ward's youth) sang "Mother, I love you" during Sacrament today.. it was so great. However, I practiced this song with our kids EVERY day, one because I love this song, and two because I really wanted them ALL to sing to me on Mother's Day. Tanner sang great and looked and smiled at me the whole time. Troy pouted and mouthed, "I hate singing. I hate songs." to me while up on the stand. And Penelope just kept shrugging like she didn't know what was going on.. Adam and I couldn't stop cracking up. They're ornery ;)

It is a NIGHTMARE trying to get all three of them to settle down long enough to take a picture, but out of the 50+ that Dad took, we were able to fish out one good one!
I used to LOVE the number 3.. but I'm really diggin' the number 4 these days :)
I already can't wait for a 2016 Mother's Day picture with all of them standing there!
