Fetch and Giggles

Oh my gooooooodness, it was hilarious today when Penelope started laughing at Goose playing fetch. It was by far the funniest thing she had ever seen! WE LOVE HER LAUGH!

So girlie!

Auntie Tawnya made Goose look so cute and girlie! I've never been able to get a bow in her hair. Auntie Tawnya got a full blown pony tail on her!

This looks like fun!

Over at House of Smiths I saw this fun idea!

Sledding

I'm obviously playing catch-up again today. Isn't this a nice treat though, familia?? You don't see any new posts for days and days and days and then you get more than you can handle?! Well, I'm sure you could probably use a few more.. The past 4 posts or so are a summary of what we've been up to.

Today it snowed! I took the boys sledding and we all had a good time! I got to go on the sled, by myself, once. The boys really hogged that board. It was so much fun! I laughed the whole way down, I'm a nerd I know. However, I've come to the realization that I'm not a kid anymore. Or at least a part of me isn't. Isn't it always the adults who get hurt doing fun things like sledding? My stepdad broke some ribs years ago sledding. Adam, for awhile there, was always hurting his back or pulling something in his legs doing something fun with the kids. And today, I smacked my cheek harder than I think I ever have on Troy's head while trying to sled down the hill. That kid has a noggin of steel so he was perfectly fine, but I was almost in tears from the smack. I've lost my kid-ish groove.

Always in a good mood!

Our boys (especially Troy) pretty much NEVER wake up in a good mood. Seriously, I hear them starting to stir in the mornings, or ESPECIALLY after their nap and OH BOY! I want to start runnin'! However, Miss Penelope ALWAYS wakes in a good mood. Smiling from ear to ear. Talking up a storm. And that squishy, huggable body of hers puts EVERYONE in the best mood! The boys were happy to cuddle with her this morning :)
The weather was wonderful this past week. We got the chance to go to the park :)

Footsie Jammies

Our boys were so exhausted the other night they couldn't even make it through our movie. This is how they fell asleep :) I love them in their footsie jammies!

Our little thug

The boys thought it was hilarious to put their beanie on Penelope while they danced jammed to some music. She didn't think it was quite as funny... this picture was taken seconds before the yelling started :)
