I can not believe we're already in our 33rd week of pregnancy! This time has gone by so fast, but I must admit, I've never been more anxious to meet our new baby! I remember thinking with the boys, as we were getting closer, "I'm not ready." However, this go-round, I keep hoping that she'll make an early-ish arrival. Not too early though... I want to make sure she's done cookin'!
I had a doctor's appointment, this past Monday, and was surprised by several things I learned:
- I lost a pound. The Doc wasn't concerned. I sure never lost any pounds while pregnant with the boys!
- The belly is measuring 31-1/2 cm, when two weeks ago it was at 32 cm.
- Baby is breach. Still plenty of time to turn, but I really thought she was getting ready for take off!
- With both boys I gained 55 lbs. I won't be gaining anywhere close to that this go round.
The doctor, so far, doesn't suspect an early arrival, so everything is still on schedule. It is nice knowing exactly when the action is going to start, but I would also love to experience the water breaking and "excitement" of going into labor :) We'll see... with my dad and Judy coming to visit and wanting to "tour" Utah, I may get Baby G anxious to come out and see the world!
I have pulled out all the baby stuff... making me even more baby anxious! Everything is washed and pressed and I can't wait to get some little baskets to better organize everything.
Isn't this kinda sad?? Not a single thing pink in the mix... all because of her brother's awesome hand-me-downs!
I griped and moaned through the setting up of this bassinet.. while Adam watched, mind you. I am SO EXCITED that it's up though!!!! Even Adam told me today that he is so excited to be having a little girl, which of course, totally warmed my heart to hear!
Lastly, we went to the park today and boy oh boy do I hate walking these days. It's so incredibly hot and I feel GINORMOUS! There's just a lot to handle right now. The heat, the swollen feet, the achy back, the constant bladder kicks, and my poor swollen fingers.
Nothing better than pizza at the park, with a swarm of cute boys!
Sadly, this was Goose's FIRST TIME at the park since living in Utah! She loved it!!
Troy is in love with Goose. He gets so excited to hold her!
I really don't see this BIG belly when I look in the mirror.. or the swollen face. However, I DO know my legs have never been more white :(
