Was it really three weeks ago, that little Penelope Jane first entered the world?! I knew this would happen. I've witnessed this twice before and I don't like it one bit. She's growing and changing right before our eyes. She's almost a month old and before I know it, she'll be a year and then starting Kindergarten just like her big brother! We decided to take some pictures of the kiddos (because you know, pictures are my favorite!). Daddy was called into work last minute, so Mom had to handle the chaos herself. We'll have to take some more when Dad is home.. I really want some with him and the kids and myself with them too. Happy three weeks, Penelope Jane :)

His First Day of School
Our handsome boy started school today. His very first day of Kindergarten, can you believe it??!
He was a little nervous but didn't show it at all. We walked into his classroom, I took him over to his seat and he was ready to start the day! When we later picked him up, Dad asked if he had made any friends... "I saw this one boy and thought I should tell him 'Hey, you wanna be my friend?' but didn't. Maybe tomorrow."
He's very excited to go back tomorrow and the next day! :)

Visiting and meeting a new baby
My mom and sister came to spend some time with us before and after baby's arrival. We played games and visited, and I laughed harder than I've laughed in a long time. I really had so much fun with them and Tanner and Troy were so excited to have Nana and Auntie visiting. (click on pictures to enlarge them)
Opening boxes full of baby goodies! Penelope was spoiled before she even entered the world!
Tanner and Troy's bed was turned into a fort for the majority of Nana's visit. Her and Auntie took turns sleeping with the boys and playing pretend!
It had been awhile since Auntie and the boys had hung out and gotten the chance to play. They loved her playful/crazy side!
One of the last pictures we took of the belly! (It's been awhile since my sis and I have taken a picture together too.) I love the outfit Penny wore home from the hospital. Sadly, that's the only picture we got of her in her "leaving the hospital" outfit.
Uncle Joe and Uncle Kevin were very excited to meet their niece! I couldn't get over how grown up my brothers are looking! Joe looked so much older and little Kevin is finally growing! ;)
And of course Papa was able to calm and soothe Penelope when needed... he's always had a way with little babies :)
The boys were super excited Papa was coming to visit. They had a blast showing him their tricks and playing and being goofy with him.
I'm so glad my mom, Dave, sister and brothers got to come visit! We can't wait to see them all again!! We love and miss you all

Where oh where can our camera be??!
So, I've lost our camera. It's somewhere here at the house (that's a good sign, right?). I know that for a fact, but where?! I have looked everywhere I can think of and still can't find it! It's driving me crazy that I'm having to settle for my phone's camera. Definitely not the same quality.
I had to take some pictures with my little sweetie. I sure do like having a little girl :)

We love each other bunches!
I'm so tired all the time.. reason for wicked sleepy eyes.
So this next year's plan/goal?! Locks of Love has been something I've wanted to do for awhile now. I'm getting close!! I'd probably be able to do it now if it weren't for all my dang layers.

Baby Sister
We sure love this little girl. Even though she keeps us up at all hours of the night, we like having a new baby in the house. Waking to one. Hearing one. Snuggling one. We love lil Penelope Jane!
At two weeks old:
8 pounds
21 inches (I'm thinking the birth measurements were a touch off..)
Feeding every 3-4 hours
NOT sleeping at night
Growing to be nice and plump :)

Two very cool pirates
Craft time was a success. I let the kids make a mess of the kitchen (you should have seen the floor), get glue all over the table and themselves, and the result?? Two happy kids with pirate gear.
They headed outside, all dressed up, and let their imaginations do the rest. We also needed a little inspiration so we popped in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Troy got to laughing so hard... he thought their get-up was hilarious!
