Troy & Penelope Videos

I Pledge Allegiance!

Take ONE!

Take TWO!

Take THREE!

AND ACTION!

I love Troy's daycare/preschool. Mrs. Jennifer is awesome with him and he loves learning from her. As we were driving in the car yesterday, I overheard him reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. I was so excited! I had no idea he was even being taught it!

Larsen Kidlings

Dad has been helping Tanner (and Troy of course) get ready for baseball season. Tanner is awesome at throwing and is improving at catching every time we practice. He had his first baseball practice this past Wednesday and is playing 1st BASE! We're so excited for him!!

I tried (yet again) to potty train this little stinker. She takes off her diaper all the time and even tells me when she's gone potty and needs to be changed, but she absolutely refuses to try out the big girl potty. I think she's going to be a bit tougher than the boys were.. she's a little more stubborn than they were too!

Isn't this little gal such a doll?! I love being able to put her curly locks in a pony tail!

Sitting in her toy box is Penelope's favorite spot to hang out.

Tanner is quite the little tree climber. We've warned him about how high he climbs and just a couple days ago, the branches got the best of him. He fell out the tree and got pretty banged up. He's pretty proud of his battle wounds though, and the fact that he "didn't even cry"!

Random Events from Last Week

I chopped off all my hair in the hopes the cut will allow my hair to health-ify some!
I'm still kind of sad it's all gone.
But, at least now, Nellie and Mom are rockin' the same do!

Tanner gave his first ever Project Presentation on the Red-Eyed Tree Frog! I was so proud of him! He did excellent educating his listeners on everything you need to know!

Yep, that's our girl!!
Belly ALWAYS showing (thanks to her ALWAYS pulling up her shirt).
Hair a disaster.. she did have pigtails but yelled for me to take them down.
A touch of sweet, Nellie crack. Yep, she likes to sport this look quite often.
We pretty much love it.

Easter Weekend

The King Kids came to visit and our kids had a blast! Tanner loves getting to hang out with Ethan and Jarom. We met at the park one day and it was refreshing to let the kids run off some energy. Penelope however, was not up for taking a group picture. She's such a grump when it comes to photos!

Penelope sure liked cousin Stella. They were little buddies.. most of the time ;)

Gramie invited all the kiddos to dye Easter eggs, which turned out to be a very fun and messy!

Easter morning is so exciting for our boys. The night before we lay out all the plastic eggs we own, along with our Easter baskets and the bunny is nice enough to not only leave us a treat, but also hide our eggs for us. We're pretty lucky (and the Bunny is so cool) to hide a whopping 100 eggs every year outside. This gives each of our boys plenty of eggs to hunt for!

This Easter was also especially exciting because it was the first year Nellie got to hunt for her own eggs. She found 5!!! She's such a big girl. (She had some crazy bed head that morning too!)

We decided to spend breakfast out! It was so nice and delicious to get out of our kitchen and eat some good food, but it also reminded Adam and myself why we don't do this more often... Nellie cried and threw crayons and menus. The boys fought over which crayon they wanted next. Our food took awhile to get to us so all the kids (including Adam) cried about how hungry they were. I had to take Nellie out to run off some energy during our meal..... Yeah.
It was fun though and I'm glad we did it!

We all looked so dang sharp before church that I HAD to take some pictures. The boys looked extra handsome in their black and white and so stinkin' cute together!

Like I said earlier, Nellie is not as cooperative for pictures as she gets older so these were the only two I was able to get with her and her brothers. (p.s. I'll have to get a better shot of her dress, but I whipped that up real quick for Easter... even though the pattern doesn't really scream 'Happy Easter'. Morgan, recognize that material??)

And lastly, isn't that family cute?! Like I said, Lookin' Sharp!
p.s. I love pics of Dad and Kids.
p.s.s. Isn't that Dad super HOT?!!!!

Happy Easter!
