All the Kiddos!

These kids are so cute together! We were all so excited to see Toby and Scout in their super adorable costumes! Their mommy did an excellent job in making them! Troy wasn't in the mood to take anymore pictures (his mom had a camera in front of him just about every minute this past week!). I still can't get over how stinkin' cute little Scout looked in her Daisy Duck costume... and I LOVED Toby's Minnie ears :)

Tanner's Preschool Halloween Party!!!

OH MY GOODNESS! I love making the boys' Halloween costumes and then seeing them dressed up in them!!! This year was another cute success! Tanner made a fabulous Dracula and Troy couldn't have made a cuter pirate! Tanner's Dracula hair turned out great too! I was so worried that as soon as he saw it, he would want me to take it off before going to school. He cried and whined through the whole process of me spraying it on, but when I finished and he looked in the mirror he started laughing to the point of tears coming from his eyes!! He LOVED it!! He could not wait to get to school and show everyone! What a relief that was for me!

My goodie boxes for Tanner's class turned out WAY cute! I was very excited to take them to all the kids! The girls had bows put onto their boxes just so everyone would know that it was specifically for a girl!

Tanner's favorite was the mummy, but I think I liked the Frankenstein the best!

I really love doing my crafts!

Each of the kids' boxes held a caramel apple! I bought the tiny apples so they were perfect for little hands and mouths! They not only had nuts on them, but they also had a few sprinkles of ghosts, pumpkins and bats!

Tanner made me get all teary eyed as I was taking him to school. He told me, "Mom, I love my Dracula costume! I'm so proud to wear it!" Just typing that all over again, makes me want to cry. He is such a sweet boy... when he wants to be! I love him so much!!!

Below is a picture of Tanner's friend, Ethan. Just about everyday I hear of what him and Ethan did that day at school. I got to talking with Ethan's mom today at the Halloween party and she told me that Ethan is always telling her of stories of what him and Tanner did that day at school! They're definitely little buddies!

Troy had a great time seeing all of the kids in their costumes and playing with the classroom's toys! His favorite costume was Henry's Ninja Turtle. Poor Henry didn't know what to do when Troy was slapping is turtle shell and trying to grab his mask!

Story Time

I had an absolute blast being Room Mom today! I was a little worried that Tanner would act out because I was going to be there with him, but I was amazed at how polite, kind, and outgoing he was! I'm so glad he's inherited his dad's goofiness! I sure wasn't like him when I was little. At the end of the day, the kids had story time (reading a pumpkin and black cat book), sang a couple Halloween songs, and finally a little parade around the classroom for all the parents to see everyone dressed up. Of course, by the end of the day Tanner's hair paint had smeared all over his hands and face and with all their activity he'd already ripped the sides of his vest. Oh well.. surprisingly, I wasn't stressed about it. I got plenty of pictures of the boys dressed up together. I was so excited to see them in their costumes! Tanner came home with a bag full of candy and plenty of happy memories! Now, if I can just keep him from eating too much candy before dinner!

A Fun Halloween Party!

Today was so much fun! We got invited to a Halloween Party our neighbor Sage was having at her house. She had so much for us to do!! Tanner got to decorate sugar cookies and then decorate his goodie bag. All the kids gathered to bob for apples. Tanner was the first to step up and show everybody how it is done. They then played musical chairs and Tanner was the winner! Everybody who played got a donut and because Tanner was the last one in a chair he also got a neat Halloween pencil! It was so nice of Sage's mommy, Michelle, to fix us all lunch. There were mummy hot dogs, cheetos and then candies galore for us all to much on. We had a lot of fun attending our first Halloween party! We're really looking forward to Tanner's Halloween party at school tomorrow and then (hopefully, depending on the weather) the pumpkin patch and trick-or-treating this weekend! We sure do love Halloween!!!

Pumpkin Carving and a Haunted House!

We had planned to take the boys to the pumpkin patch this past weekend, but on our way to the patch it started pouring rain! We were all so bummed; especially Tanner. Adam and I decided to head home and carve the two pumpkins we bought earlier that week from Walmart. It seemed to take hours and hours and hours and hours... to carve the pumpkins but it was a lot of fun to spend those hours upon hours together. Tanner picked out a very scary picture of snake fangs (again, going along with the theme of his Dracula costume) and so him and I carved that out on his pumpkin. Adam came up with his own design for his pumpkin and I have to admit, it turned out pretty neat!

Poor little Troy (you can see his tiny little self between Tan and I) was not feeling good this weekend. He was running a horrible fever all weekend and today I found out why... he has TWO new molars! One is coming in on the bottom, right of his mouth and one on the top left! Hopefully ALL his teeth pop through right now so we don't have to experience any more of this teething!

Tanner had a blast helping me out when he could and then going to his dad and helping him with his pumpkin.

Yaaaaaay! (sigh) After I finished up our pumpkin I got to work on the traditional Haunted Halloween Gingerbread House that Nana and Papa sent us! Dang, I can't wait to do it all over again next year and the year after that! Just kidding, mom. To be honest, this year I put more detail into our spooky house than any other time. It turned out really good. However, I don't think even an hour had passed after finishing it up when Tanner asked if he could start eating it. I was able to get a picture before he started chowin' down though!

Tanner looks so forward to getting this haunted house every year. Thanks Nana and Papa!
