March 2015

1. Our Troy Boy turned 6 years old on Friday the 13th! He wanted a "cheetah" themed birthday this year and even though Mom didn't go "all out" with the decorations, he was excited with the results! We had steak and hot dogs and our very first donut cake!

2. While Dad was away in North Carolina for work, Troy stayed busy drawing him pictures for his return! You can also see in the picture he had taken a pretty nasty fall and banged up his face pretty good. Mom does not handle these kinds of moments well and it was even more nerve wrecking having Dad so far away, but we got him all fixed up and he was healed in time for his birthday celebration :)

3/4: Kid birthdays are so much fun! Troy was thrilled with the gifts he received and of course, he sure soaked up the attention during his class celebration.. he's such a goof!

5. Papa and Nana came to visit us and were here for his party! They were even able to help me walk the boys to school one day!

Our little Penelope is so grown up :( She started swimming lessons and of course, took to it right away! She picked out an Ariel swimsuit and loves every minute of her swimming time!

Today Tanner had his Blue and Gold Ceremony for Cub Scouts (Adam is currently serving as Scout Master for our Ward)! Our TanMan is so grown up! He received a bunch of awards and as soon as I get his patches sewn on and a belt to hold all of his achievements, I'll post a picture. One of the other boys at the ceremony had a shirt full of badges, which made Tanner very excited at the thought of one day having the same. I was very excited at how involved mothers were in the ceremony. I was rewarded by Tanner with a couple of my own pins.. it was a pretty special moment for us!

(Working Top left to right..)
1. We visited Adam's side in Idaho and I sure soaked up the cuddles from little Trey! He's a doll!!!
2. Penelope discovered that by licking pretzels, they'll stick to her body.. of course, her placement of choice.... she thought it was hilarious (mom did too).
3. Penelope has decided she wants a kitty and definitely enjoyed her time with Cohen's kitty!
4. This was the baby bump at 26 weeks :)
5. Penelope loves her some make-up!
6. The kiddos enjoying our stay at a hotel on our way to Idaho.
7. Penelope's new Ariel swimsuit!
8. Adam and I got in a little tennis one afternoon, which was a blast, but unfortunately more of a workout than I thought it would be, so any more playing time is on hold until after baby :)
9. On Troy's actual birthday, we treated the kiddos to a trip to Cabela's.. they LOVE the aquarium.

1. Troy's birthday in Idaho, celebrated with Grandpa and Gramie Larsen, Uncle Scott, Auntie Tawnya, Cohen and Trey, and cousins Aspen and Racer.
2. Gramie made Troy a pretty awesome Boise State pillow. (He has Boise, Tanner has BYU)
3. Papa and Nana treated Nell and I to Baskin Robins!! It's been forever since I've been there and Nell's first time.. I had to stick with tradition of getting the rainbow sherbet, which was just as yummy as I remember as a kid going with my dad!
4. Gramie bought Penelope some fancy new nail polish.
5. Before we left for Idaho, we visited the Hastings Museum.
6. Penelope has also decided she needs a vehicle like the ones she test drove at Cohen and Trey's house :)
7. This was our little gal for church today, in her new dress that Gramie made her.
8. Our Troy Boy after his fall. You can see how swollen the right side of his face was :(
9. And of course, we had to stop and take a picture in front of the new Payson, UT temple while we were there!

I'm horrible at taking pictures anymore, so I'm confident this wraps up March ;) However, I'll be sure to post some April pictures since we'll have: Easter, soccer, swimming, and nice weather :)
