3.22.16 - 3.26.16

We had Papa, Nana, Grandpa Dan and Grandma Judy come visit us!
We had been counting down the days until we got to see them again.
It had been the first time that Grandpa and Grandma had met Lydia.

Troy turns 7!

Dear Troy,

I can hardly believe that it's been seven years since you joined our family! You are such a blessing and make our life so fun and energetic! At church and at school you're such a shy little guy, but once you're comfortable with your surroundings, you're far from it! You love to hear the story of your birth. How scary it was for all of us and how you had to wear oxygen. You love to hear what a strong, brave baby you were and I love that. Even though you're the little brother to Tanner, you protect him and look out for him daily. When you and Penelope aren't fighting to the death, you two are the best of friends. I'm so thankful Tanner, Penelope and Lydia have you to look up to. Speaking of Lydia, you can't get enough of that little girl! You ask ALL the time to hold her and squeeze her. You're usually giving her too much love to the point where you get into trouble, but we really do love how much you love her! Daddy and I always laugh how you're our little "light switch". The moment you wake in the morning, you're bouncing off the walls and ready to start your day. You play ALL day outside with friends (playing star wars and nerf wars) until Mom calls you in for lunch and then finally dinner. You're the first one asleep each night and the first to rise! You love to tell me of all the crazy dreams you had each night and are our BEST eater. We're pretty sure you're going through a growth spurt with how much you eat. You're still waiting to lose a tooth and you go through a pair of shoes about every 2 months. We are FOREVER buying you new shoes. Happy 7th Birthday our Troy Boy. May this year be extra special, just like you!

Love,

Mom

2016 Pinewood Derby

This month was the Pinewood Derby! Tanner and Dad created a pretty awesome car! Tan's car placed 9th overall, but also took away the Most Unique award!!
I helped with the decorations and making the trophies. So. Much. Fun!

Lydia is 8 months!!!?!

I hate how fast time flies. We soak up everyday with this little girl. She is still smothered with kisses and squeezes daily! Still no teeth yet. She currently has a cold (and maybe trying to cut teeth) so this poor girlie is not a happy camper these days. She's wearing 12 month comfortably and some 18 month. WE LOVE HER!

I just had to try and recreate the left picture. I love it of Penelope and I. I think it's obvious that these two little girls are sisters!

November/December 2015

Quietbook I made for my friend Danielle. She's due with her first baby girl in January, so I thought a very girlie, all princess book was needed!

Thanksgiving was spent with our friends from church. It was an awesome day of good food and riding four wheelers. The night before, we decided to try out pink foam curlers on Miss Nellie's hair. She wasn't too sure about it ;) But she sure looked cute.

This past Friday, the boys had their holiday class parties. The theme at school was the Grinch, so we all wore green. Of course, Dad was a rebel but since it was red and still festive, Mom let it slide ;)

To finish off Grinch Day, we decided to surprise the kids with a trip to a hotel for swimming and chinese food. It was awesome, because it was the first day here that it was actually cold, so getting out the cold into a warm pool was great.

Going to church the Sunday before Christmas is my FAVORITE! I love the Christmas music, the primary singing, all of it!
Wishing our family and friends a very Merry Christmas!
