Troy's Hunting Quiet Book

(sigh....) It's complete! Days and days, hours upon hours, the Hunting Quiet Book is done and I'm so excited about it! Our boys can't wait to grow and be just like Daddy. Hiking the mountains behind our home, camping,  fishing. They LOVE the outdoors. I found that making Troy a Hunting quiet book would be very fitting and he is soooo excited to finally have it! In this book are the essentials you'll need for a successful hunting/fishing/camping trip and the animals you may find along the way!!! ;)

The Browning logo

the thought of cutting out a four-wheeler made me tired, so the exhaust smoke is as good as it gets!

Y is for yellow bait     Z is for zzzz's (a tired camper)

Thank you for viewing Troy's Quiet Book; I'm quite proud of it!

The start of the hunt.

I never got these pictures up, so continuing with the hunting pictures.... these were taken the day before the elk hunt started. Adam, Elijah, and Fred packed their bags, grabbed their guns, loaded the trucks and were on their way up the mountain.

Check out those giddy faces! Little did they know just how cold it really was up in them there mountains!! They left like this.....

And sadly, came back like this......

They had a great time though. Even though they weren't able to come across any elk, they had fun camping and doing manly stuff.

Adam's first buck!

Adam successfully shot his first buck, and Penelope and I were lucky enough to be with him when he did! {Don't worry... us girls stayed in the vehicle while Dad did all the dirty work.} I was beyond excited Adam wanted me to tag along. I have to admit, I'm not much help to him. I'm blinder than a bat and so I really love the fact he has to wear BRIGHT orange! I may not be able to see much, but I sure saw him! All in all, I am so proud of my hunter husband and so happy I got to experience this with him.
